Citations in Library Databases

Library Databases will generate a citation in MLA format.  Look for the CITE button/ link to generate the citation, then copy and paste it into a document to keep track of sources, and format the Works Cited page according to MLA 9.

Many databases will download a citation directly into a NoodleTools project.  If you are using NoodleTools to keep track of your research, look for this option as you find sources!

• Login to NoodleTools by clicking on the Google icon at the bottom of the NoodleTools login page
  • (Use your [studentID#]@fcpsschools.net account if it's not already saved in your browser)
• Create a New Project 
  • Example: Campana IB Business SL Internal Assessment (be sure to include your last name at the beginning and change the SL to HL if appropriate)

• Enter each source

• Note page numbers for in-text citations

• Attach a PDF copy of the source (if available) to the citation in NoodleTools

• To turn in your Works Cited, EXPORT your sources from NoodleTools
