Book Recommendations! Open the second Google Slide, linked at the bottom of the page; click on the two audio icons to hear about some great books (all available as eBooks through Robinson's library or for free online). Then open the hyperlinks to access each text or browse for others!

Reading Challenge!

How can you participate? Download the choice board, read a great book, and complete one short reflection for each book you read.  Keep track of your reading on your own personal copy of the Choice Board.

Listen to the introductions and librarian booktalks - perfect for those without an @fcpsschools account.

How can you extend this challenge?

We encourage you to read all summer! Let the choice board guide you to select great books, genres, or various formats, and challenge yourself. Consider setting a reading goal for yourself and ...

  • Read at least ONE BOOK, and perhaps...
  • Create your own challenge, set a goal, and READ all summer! Examples might include:
    • ​Read any 5 books from the choice board categories
    • Read a book each week of the summer
    • Read a book from every square on the Choice Board

REFLECT

After reading each book, complete a short reflection.

DEADLINE & PRIZES

This challenge begins on Friday, June 12 and ends Monday, September 7. All students who participate will be entered to win grade level raffle prizes!  The more you read, the greater your chances of winning!
