Geometry Vocabulary Project: Home

Understanding vocabulary is an integral part of learning in Geometry.  Visualizing what a term means in the real world increases understanding and makes learning relevant.  In this project, you will be looking for images demonstrating these vocabulary words OR representations of geometric figures in the world around you. 

Format:  You will use Google Slides or another presentation form to create your presentation.  Use photographs or pictures from Britannica Imagequest or another source to show representations of vocabulary term.  You must cite each image so using a database will make this easier. You need to share your presentation with your teacher.

Requirements:  Using whichever format you chose above, create a visual representation from the real world for 20 of the terms listed on the back of this page.  Highlight or outline where the term is found in the picture.  Write a definition for each term AND a sentence to clarify how the term is represented in your picture.
