Watch this tutorial on finding an official campaign website and citing it in NoodleTools.  Note it was recorded in 2019 with presidential primary candidates, but the same advice applies.

Note-Taking

  1. Open the Candidate Research notetaking document from Schoology
  2. Find the campaign website for the Democratic Candidate.
    • Take notes from the website
  3. Find the campaign website for the Republican candidate, and repeat the process above.
  4. Consider these questions:
    • Compare the Democratic candidate to the Republican.  What similarities do they share? Where do they differ? 

 

Citations 

 

  1. Watch the instructional video on How to Find and Cite a campaign website.  (Note: this example is from a presidential primary, but the same advice applies)
  2. Create a new project in NoodleTools
    • Add Student Collaborator (type your partner's Student ID number@ fcpsschools.net)
  3. Find the campaign website for the Democratic Candidate.
  4. Within your NoodleTools project, add a New Source, select Website, to create a citation.
  5. Copy the citation from NoodleTools, and paste into the notetaking document for each candidate
