Chi Squared

Chi Squared Test for Independence compares two catagorical variables to test for independence.

  1. Define the null and alternate hypothesis
  2. Calculate the expected values
  3. Calculate the Chi Squared calculated value
  4. Calculate the degrees of freedom and use this to find the Chi Squared critical value from a critical value table
  5. Compare the Chi Squared calculated value to the critical value to find if you accept or deny your null hypothesis

Correlation and Linear Regression

Correlation is the relationship between two variables. Once a relationship is established, Linear Regression can be used to create a linear model
