Exploration of Print

Browse Robinson's poetry collection via the catalog or by visiting the resources spread out on the tables. Some books feature poems by one author while other collections include poems by a variety of authors. When you find poems you enjoy, take note of the author, the title, and the poetry collection and take notes in the Pick-a-Poet assignment.

Step One: 

  • Open the Robinson Library Catalog
  • Login to Destiny for your Library Account (FCPS username/password) 
 

Explore Poets

 

Step Two: 

  • Browse the library catalog to find poetry of interest, targeting your search as follows: 
    • Log in to your Library Account
    • Switch from Destiny Discover over to Destiny Back Office 
    • Click "Power Search"
    • Search for "Poetry"
    • Enter the "Call Number" range "800 to 899"
    • Conduct your search 
  • Reminder: Poetry, drama, and literary criticism are in the 800s; feel free to browse those shelves.
