What movies came out that year?  What songs were playing on the radio?  What technology was being used? Well, here’s your chance to find all that out and more!

 

Five Categories to Cover

 

News Events, International and National: noteworthy events within world governments, politics/elections, economics, conflicts, weather events, natural disasters, Nobel Prize winners, etc. AND noteworthy events related to local and national government/politics, elections, economics, population trends (Census), etc., Supreme Court rulings, etc.

 

 

Entertainment, Music, Fashion, Movies, Books, etc. (celebrities/movies/television shows, top of the charts for rock, pop, country, rap, etc., best sellers, awards such as Emmys,  Grammies,  Nobel Prize in literature, etc.

 

 

Sports News:  include football, soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, horse racing, basketball, etc., noteworthy events related to  specific players, coaches and/or teams,  championship games, etc.

 

 

Science/Technology: new discoveries or inventions/computer news/technology advancements, medical advancements, Nobel Prizes science or science-related areas, etc.
