Feel free to use the resources below, including print, digital, and downloadable audiobooks, as supplemental materials.

Listening - Free Audiobook downloads

SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens. Teens can download two complete audiobooks for free each week - pairs of high interest titles, based on weekly themes.

  1. Download the Overdrive App
  2. Sign up for an account with your Fairfax County Public Library card number and password, or sign up  with Facebook.
  3. Add a Title; your choice of two each week
  4. Type your name and email address, then click Get your Free Download, then click Open in Overdrive
  5. New titles are available each Thursday all summer.  Once downloaded, the books are yours to keep!

 

Hints:

  • Use a personal device (phone or computer) to download books

  • Use a personal email address (non-FCPS) so that you can receive messages from AudioFile

  • Use a wireless network when downloading the app and books
