For this project, cite all sources for your country information, government, history and news. View screencasts below for directions:

• CIA World Factbook (if used)
• When finished, EXPORT your sources to Google Docs to share and turn in

  • Within your essay, you'll cite each source to give credit to the author/source at the end of a sentence with parentheses. This is called parenthetical citation.
    • Example from Purdue OWL; includes the author and page number within parentheses (if no page number, use the author only): 
      • Romantic poetry is characterized by the "spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings" (Wordsworth 263).

Access Noodletools through your FCPS Google Apps.

• Log in to your FCPS Google account @fcpsschools.net
• Click on the Google Apps Navigation Box (App picker - box of nine dots) 
• Scroll down to: More
• Select: Noodletools

  • Download directly from a database into a NoodleTools project, or
  • Copy/Paste a citation generated by a library database
• Add a book citation quickly using the book's ISBN
• Print or Export a perfect list of Works Cited to turn in
