English 10 - Inspired by History (2018): Introduction

Introduction

Leaving Atlanta: Inspired by History

It is easy to focus on the here and now of our lives -- the "to-do" lists and activities, the people we see everyday, and the events directly impacting our day-to-day patterns. Yet, we are all shaped by larger, local, national, and international events events; we often recall moments in history with a reflective lens, thinking I recall where I was when certain events transpired. For this assignment, you will reflect on your lives and consider the following essential question:

To what extent have events from the past impacted you?
