Our Mission 

Empowering students to think critically, read enthusiastically, and research skillfully, with academic integrity. (American Association of School Librarians)

Our goal is to foster innovation, curiosity, creativity, and collaboration and to provide exceptional, equitable resources for students and teachers.

Library Hours

Monday                       7:40am – 4:15pm*

Tuesday                      7:40am – 3:15pm

Wednesday                 7:40am – 4:15pm*

Thursday                     7:40am – 4:15pm*

Friday                          7:40am – 3:15pm

* Students must arrive in the library by 3:05pm to receive a late bus pass from the library.  Students arriving after 3:05pm must ask for a late bus pass from the first teacher or club attended.

Hours are subject to change without notice.

About our library

  • Loan period: 3 weeks
  • Late fees: $.10 per school day; maximum $10.00 per book
  • Lost materials: please inquire about the replacement cost
  • All financial obligations should be settled immediately. Students must return overdue materials and/or pay late fees before checking out library materials.
  • Printing Services: Black & white copies or print-outs: $.10 per page; Color print-outs: $.25 per page.

Robinson Library Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

When can I come to the library?

Students are welcome before school, after school, during Raise (with a library-issued pass), during lunch, and during class (with a pass) or with a class for instruction.

When do I need a pass to come to the library?

Passes required during class time, and during Raise.

Raise: Students who come during Raise must stay in the library for the entire period.

Lunch time & Class time:

All students must sign in and out on the computer at the circulation desk. 

Students who come to the library during lunch must stay in the library the entire lunch period.

How do I get a pass?

Raise library passes are given out daily in the library.  Students must make an appointment ahead of time, show the pass to their Raise teacher, and also to the librarian.  Attendance is taken each Raise block.  Lost passes are not replaced, and passes are not transferrable.

Teachers may issue a library pass to come during class time.

Checkouts, renewals, & overdue books:

  • The loan period is three weeks
  • Books may be renewed 
  • Fines are assessed at a rate of 10 cents a day
